xHD2 Radar Bird Mode is “Phenomenal”

Find fishing hot spots easier than ever before with Garmin xHD2 Open Array Radar. How? Bird Mode.

For almost any offshore or bay angler, scanning the skies for flocks of feeding birds is all in a day’s fishing.  But the new Bird Mode setting gives boaters a quick way to identify birds at greater distances.

Radar - Bird Mode - 7600

We caught up with Captain Steve Sprague from Team Tuppens to ask him what he thinks about Bird Mode.

“The Garmin xHD2 radar is phenomenal. We absolutely love it! Not long ago, I took the owner of a local marina fishing and he couldn’t believe it. We were marking a few birds in the area with Bird Mode, so we went over there and sure enough, there were a few birds. After that, we saw some more birds with the xHD2 and headed over in that direction. All of a sudden, we were catching tuna left and right because my Garmin electronics helped us locate them. Bird Mode is absolutely helping us find and catch more fish this year.”
