The first day of the FLYING Aviation Expo in Palm Springs, California begins tomorrow and Garmin couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this inaugural event. Hundreds of airplanes are slated to fly-in for this unique, 3-day event, which runs through Sunday and features a series of seminars and events all focused around general aviation.

Garmin is excited to be there showcasing the latest we have to offer in avionics and to answer any questions you might have regarding current or existing avionics in your aircraft. Looking to upgrade your aircraft to comply with ADS-B? We have several solutions, including the new cost-effective and low intrusive GDL 84 ADS-B datalink!

Garmin will also be taking part in several panels throughout the show, including:

     • Friday, October 31st Seminar

                o 9:00 – “Disruptive Technologies”

o 3:00 – “Modern Avionics Upgrades for your Panel”

      • Saturday, November 1st

                o 3:00 – "Your NextGen Retrofit Project"

Also, just in time for the holiday season (and the Aviation Expo!) we’re happy to offer a holiday rebate for select Garmin portables. Between now and December 26th, 2014, customers can save $100 on a number of our portables, including the aera 550/560, aera 795/796 and GPSMAP 695/696. This rebate is further extended to provide a savings of $50 on our VIRB Elite Aviation Bundle and a $75 savings on the VIRB/D2 Aviator Action Pack. Additionally, customers can save $50 on the aera 500/510. Contact a Garmin dealer or visit us at the show this week for more details.

If you’re heading to the Aviation Expo in Palm Springs tomorrow, be sure to stop by and visit your friends from Garmin in booth #1121! We’ll be there all weekend and stay tuned tomorrow, where we’ll provide updates from the show, including photos from the unique “Parade of Planes.”

See you there!
