Victor’s Vectors: Flying with MP3s and Audio Books
Spring has SPRUNG, and most of us have started to plan family vacations and trips to warm weather locations. The best part of the trip is that you can plan on good weather most of the time. One of the draw backs is on the long legs of the flights where you could really use some tunes. With the release of the 2.5 software/firmware for the aera units, we've added the MP3 and audio book functions to the home screen. This means you no longer need XM weather to have music on board! You now have the option to load music or audio books directly to the aera or to place the music on a Mini SD card and it will play the books and music from there. If you have an aera unit and you do not see this function, you may need to update the firmware for free from our website.
