Victor’s Vectors: Falling temperatures bring falling prices for holiday shopping
The leaves are falling, the days are getting shorter, and before we all know it the holidays will be upon us. Garmin is embracing this reality and announcing some price reductions and rebates just in time for the holiday shopping season. The popular Americas version of the GPSMAP 496 is decreasing from a street price of $2,395 to the new price of $1,999 and the GPSMAP 495 is lowering from $1,595 to $1,299.
Also in time for those holiday shoppers, Garmin is announcing a $300 rebate for our popular GPSMAP 695 / 696 portable products. This mail in rebate is for purchases made between October 7, 2009 and December 31, 2009. To help you learn the ins and outs of your new 695 / 696 Garmin has also reduced the price of the eLearning program to $74.95 until the end of the year.
The holidays are coming and with Garmin’s holiday savings maybe this year I’ll get that shopping completed early!
