G5000dynamic4aPR Time is ticking away on 2010 and before long we will all be ushering in a New Year.  This time of year is the perfect time to take a minute to reflect on this year and to set goals for the year to come.  Looking back on 2010 Garmin’s aviation team has had several accomplishments including Aviation Support ranked #1 by AIN; G3X upgrades for engine monitoring and autopilot interface; Pilot My-Cast for the iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad; Database bundles released for 696 / 695 / 496 / 495 / aera 560 / aera 550; Garmin’s SVX (synthetic vision for G3X); Certification of G500H / 430WH / 530WH; G1000 for the KingAir with Garmin ESP; Geo-referenced charts, checklists, and worldwide NavData for the GPSMAP 696; GSR 56 Iridium transceiver for satellite phone service; and the GDL 59 Wi-Fi data link.  We also announced that we’re working on KingAir 300 / 350 G1000 upgrade; STC for RVSM with G600 in the Cessna Conquest II; and the G5000 for Part 25 aircraft.  This list is quite a list; however, Garmin is not a company to rest on the accomplishments of the past.  The New Year is approaching with it comes many more goals to achieve.  Happy New Year and here’s to hoping that this time next year we are looking back with a smile on the endeavors of 2011.
