Unaccidental tourist
I’m out of town for a few days, doing a little sightseeing and enjoying some blissful “me time” while my husband attends a conference in Dallas. Scouting the city has been a cinch with nüvi. It helps me avoid the foreignroadasuarus creatures that prey on out-of-towners. With nüvi, I’m just a few screen taps away from getting to any address or destination. Yesterday, I used it to route to White Rock Lake Park for the running trail, which the hotel courtesy staff had recommended. My Forerunner and I like to try out new courses, and I enjoyed this run, though the lake effect winds had me wincing at times. Today, shopping’s on the agenda, and thanks to the SaversGuide plug-in for nüvi, I can look up stores, attractions, services and restaurants that offer discounts. Wanna be an unaccidental tourist?
