U23 cyclist Kyle Torres recaps season using Edge 705

Kyle with team Perhaps my
greatest accomplishment for the season was to be selected as one of six 15/16
year olds to go to Belgium
for three weeks to train and race. Here is a picture of me and the team, posing with Team Garmin's Tyler Farrar at the Eneco Tour. This was by far the best experience a young
bike racer can have. Although I did not have great finishes in the races that I
was entered in, the learning experience cannot be duplicated anywhere. This
trip gave me the insight that I needed to come back next year and have some
great results in Europe.

Now, as I look at next season, I
have some pretty lofty goals. One of them is to win a National Championship in
the Time Trial and I also want to do well in the Junior National Road Race. I
also hope to be invited back to Belgium
where I would like to get at least one podium finish. To do this, I am logging
more training miles than ever before and my Garmin Edge 705 is there for me
every step of the way, logging every mile with tons of data. It has also saved
me from getting lost many times. I will report back as the new season
progresses.
