U.S. Sport Aviation Expo Recap

CAM24777Pilots had the opportunity to escape the cold winter weather flying that engulfs much of the country this time of year and head to Sebring, Florida for the 12th annual Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) Expo last week. Several of us from Garmin had the opportunity to flea the wintry weather in Kansas City and we were thrilled to be there and see our customers for the first airshow in 2016!

Sport Aviation Booth ExpoOn display at the show, we had both the 7-inch and 10-inch G3X Touch flight display, which left attendees planning their avionics installation at the Garmin booth! We handed out a number of installation cutouts at the show so pilots could begin planning their Garmin avionics suite in the comfort of their own home (or hangar!) We also featured our G500 glass flight display and GTN 650/750 touchscreen series for customers looking for other retrofit options among certified aircraft.

To round out the four-day show, we conducted several seminars that highlighted the G3X Touch system so pilots and homebuilders alike could become more familiar with the advanced feature set G3X Touch has to offer. Judging by the attendance, the Garmin seminars were a hit! Sport Expo Training1

We hope you had the opportunity to attend and if you didn’t, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to catch Garmin at any one of the upcoming airshows! We’ll also be touring around the country conducting a number of aviation seminars.
