Traveling to London? Save now on the Garmin and NAVIGON iPhone navigation apps
In our post on Friday, we explained how our cityXplorer London can help you explore London like a local using your nüvi. For those of you that prefer to travel light and are ok with using a smartphone for navigation, we now offer our iPhone navigation apps for the UK at a reduced price.
The Garmin StreetPilot iPhone app as well as the NAVIGON app both save the maps on the phone, so they function without a cell phone connection. This means you don’t have to worry about roaming fees when navigating abroad. Both apps come preloaded with millions of points of interests, including venues that cover sports events. If you’re not familiar with road regulations in the UK, such as speed limits for example, these apps provide helpful information and even warnings. Also included are 3D buildings and landmarks, so you can easily find interesting sights, among many other features.
We offer the following price reductions until August 12, 2012:
Garmin StreetPilot for iPhone UK & Ireland: $59.99 instead of $74.99
NAVIGON for iPhone British Isles: $59.99 instead of $74.99
