The Eagle Has Landed…at Garmin

Flying01 Flying02 Flying03 Every year, Flying magazine’s Editors review aviation developments over the past 12-months searching for outstanding achievements. This year, Garmin won the coveted 2005 Flying Editors’ Choice Award for the GPSMAP 396. Yeah!!! Robert Goyer, Flying magazine’s Senior Editor, was at Garmin today to present the Golden Eagle award to the GPSMAP 396 team. This is the 5th time in 11 years that Garmin has won Flying’s Editor’s Choice Award, and that’s a record we’re really proud of.  It’s also important to note that the aircraft that won this years’ award was the Columbia 400, which has the Garmin G1000 panel.  Visit Flying’s website to learn more about the 396 or the Columbia 400.
