Team_on_stage Tglogo_2 With less than two days to the start of the Tour de France, the town of Brest, France is a mass of cycling teams, the press and throngs of fans. Click here to view coverage from today’s press conference where Team Garmin was announced.

Jake, from the Garmin media and blog team, is on the scene in France taking in the whirl of activities and press coverage and here’s his synopsis: “A few hours after their new kits were unveiled, Team Garmin showed them off to the masses. Team_garmin_joy_rideSeveral thousand cycling fans showed up for the team introductions and Tour kickoff tonight in the heart of downtown Brest, France. The festivities got off to a great start as Team Garmin was the first of the 20 teams announced. The nine Team Garmin cyclists rode their bikes onto stage, waved to the crowd as each name was announced, and then pedaled around the block to greet the streetside fans behind barricades.”
