Team Garmin: After a day’s ride
Stage 2 of the Tour de France was windy and hilly, and Team Garmin’s primary objective was to finish the day with everyone upright on two wheels. But rather than stopping there, David Millar finished in the lead group and moved up to 7th overall at just one second off the lead. After the ride, Team Garmin moved on to Saint-Malo, where Stage 3 will begin and preparations and analysis are already under way. Laptops, markers and conversations were in high gear, crunching the data recorded by each cyclist’s Edge 705, making any adjustments to the bike and looking ahead to the next day’s route – and enjoying another good day on the Tour.
