Sun ‘N Fun 2017: What To See
For airshow fans, Sun ‘N Fun 2017 will undoubtedly be one of the loudest events in recent memory. With two major jet demonstration teams scheduled to appear – the US Navy Blue Angels and the French Air Force’s Patrouille de France (Patrol of France) – the Lakeland sky is sure to be filled with plenty of Jet A exhaust and soundwaves. For us, Sun ‘N Fun represents one of the best and earliest opportunities throughout the year to share our latest products with our dedicated customer base.
It’s already been an exciting week of announcements leading up to the show. Owners and pilots of both certified and experimental aircraft will have several new products to look forward to seeing, including the new 7-inch portrait version of our G3X Touch flight display, new DG/HSI version of the G5 electronic flight instrument for certificated aircraft, and GMA 345/342 all-digital audio panels. Additionally, we’ll be showing off the new visual approach feature on our GTN 650/750 series touchscreen navigators and more. See first hand how our Connext products, including Flight Stream 510, can simplify your life as a pilot. Features like Database Concierge, which offers wireless databases updates, wireless flight plan transfer, weather and traffic streaming will make cockpit tasks even more enjoyable.
Plus, if an upgrade is on the horizon be sure to check out our daily seminars hosted by our avionics experts. Take advantage of everything from flying with a tablet running Garmin Pilot to a complete panel overhaul with our versatile G500/G600 flight displays and more. Seminars take place April 4-8 in the Garmin Seminar Tent N11 located between Hangar D and the flight line.
