At this year's Boston Marathon we saw some of the fastest times ever ran. American Ryan Hall set a new personal best (PR 2:04:58) wearing his Forerunner 210 and Kenyan Geoffry Mutai ran the fastest time ever, in the over 2500 year history of the marathon (2:03:02). Garmin is excited to note that Season 10's Biggest Loser winner, Patrick House, ran a PR of his own with the help of his Forerunner 210. Here is what Patrick had to say:

I survived the Boston Marathon!!!  I am proud to say that I beat my prior Biggest Loser Marathon time by 33 min!  I posted a 5:12:38 time, not blazing, but I finished.  My goal for my next marathon is to get under 5 hours.  There is no doubt in my mind that my Garmin Forerunner 210 running watch played a key role in my successes in The Boston Marathon.  I was able to monitor my pace and time from the watch, and that really helped me to do the best I could at Boston.  Thanks so much for helping me achieve my goals.  I am looking forward to my next marathon to see just how well I can do.  Talk to you soon, Patrick.
