Garminwherigo3From Vickie in California: "i found this coin while caching on hwy 38 up to BIG BEAR, CA… The cache i found it in (GCY0JK) was on a cliff. It took 2 tries to find it… we went up within about 30 feet of it and decided it was on the bottom, across the road and down by another dirt road. nope… so back up the other side we went. found it!!! love the coin Thanks to whomever put it there."

From Adam (WallenFamily), using a GPS Map60CSx: "My family is in Manitou Springs, CO for a family reunion, and we were out seeing the sights when we stopped to search for a geocache along the way. My part of the family (my wife and I and our 4 kids ages 6 and under) is here from Ashburn, VA, and we were seeing the sights with my brother and his family (his wife, him and their 3 kids ages 7 and under). He stopped at the reunion as a roundabout detour in the middle of moving his family from New York to Texas. We had done geocaches together before, so the odd stop at an innocuous road-side pull-off was no surprise. He even jumped out to help look for the cache with my wife, and she found it quickly. Finding that a recent cacher had left behind an unregistered Colorado Series 2008 geocoin was an excellent added bonus. This will be our first geocoin to initiate, and we look forward to following its travels around the country, and hopefully around the world."

A note from Skandia53: "Just snagged a Wherigo and Garmin’s Colorado Series 2008 geocoin in Red Rock Canyon Park in Manitou Springs, Colorado."

And from William Klingensmith: "Fired up the trusty Garmin GPSMap 76CSx and headed down the bike trail to avenge a DNF. After a short search… Wow! Imagine our surprise when we opened GC18221 – Tooth Fairy and found a wonderful new coin. The Wherigo coin is striking and handsome. We’d looked unsuccessfully for the Tooth Fairy back in January but at a muggle filled time and couldn’t spot it. We came back today while the businesses were closed and made the find. Makes us a little glad for the DNF! Never thought we’d say that! Thanks for the coin. We also just saw that Garmin has picked up the sponsorship of a bicycle racing team, Team Garmin, formerly Slipstream. Way to go! This is an awesome development. Their commitment to clean racing and your outdoor image go great together. I hope you get a lot of return for your investment and are able to continue your support for a long time. Go Garmin!"
