Seeing is believing – the GPSMAP 696’s safety features
The GPSMAP 696 has been the subject of recent Garmin blog posts for obvious reasons, but it is nice to see that the 696 is catching the eye of others in the aviation community. Aviation Safety has recently created a video outlining some of the enhanced features of the 696, including the terrain page, panel page, and NRST feature to name a few.
