Sadler qualifies second for Phoenix race
The excitement is high for the No. 19 Best Buy Racing team as they gear up for tomorrow’s race in Phoenix. Driver Elliott Sadler and the No. 19 Stanley Tools Dodge qualified in second place for the Subway Fresh Fit 500, just outside the pole with a lap of 263.984. Cup drivers will take on the flat-one mile oval of Phoenix International Raceway this weekend, and the team says PIR is the perfect place to get the point battle back on track. Elliott is currently in 20th place in Drivers Points standings, 163 points behind the 12th position. Tune in Saturday night at 8 pm ET to catch all the action.
And although Elliott will be turning up the heat in the orange, yellow and red-flame Stanley Tools paint scheme tomorrow, here’s a first look at the No. 19 Garmin paint scheme that will debut at next weekend’s Talladega race!
