Roger’s Runway: Extra support
To better help you as a consumer of aviation products, Garmin has created a new dedicated toll-free phone number just for you. The phone number will provide you direct access to the aviation support group for either your portable unit or your panel mounted unit, including your G1000 systems. This is one of the few changes that Garmin is rolling out to provide better service. So get your pen out and write down this number: 866-739-5687. Expert support is just a phone call away!
On a personal note, this will be the last official Roger’s Runway post that I will be writing, as I am leaving to pursue my dream of flying helicopters. One thing that the Garmin Blog has been proud of is customer contributions to this blog. Because of that, do not be surprised if you see me back every once in while with a post about using Garmin units in helicopters. I do want to thank the Garmin Blog Team as I have had a fun time writing for the blog and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
