Ride on.
On a recent vacation in Winter Park, Colorado, my spouse and brother ditched the rest of us and went 2-wheelin’. In case you’re wondering what a ski town looks like in the summer, these photos from their mountain biking excursions pretty much sum it up — gorgeous from every angle. With over 600 miles of trails, Winter Park is known as the mountain biking capital of the U.S.A. Nice way to put those majestic mountains to use when the snow’s gone.
While some downhillers and their bikes rode the chairlift up the mountain, these Kansas boys did it on their own power all the way. One used the Garmin eTrex Vista with built-in altimeter and one had a Forerunner 305 along for the ride. Check out one of their rides in MotionBased.
