It’s time to take flight at the Red Bull Air Race World Championships. It has been nearly 90 days since the first race in Abu Dhabi and the excitement for the next race is growing at a strong pace.  The second leg of the 2015 Red Bull Air Race World Championships will be held in Chiba, Japan on May 16-17th and it couldn’t come soon enough.

Chiba is a beautiful beach city located just east of Tokyo and is considered a large suburb in the major Japanese metropolis founded less than 100 years ago.  Chiba is home to gorgeous landscapes covered with flowers, the longest artificial beach in Japan, and Japanese shrines. The race will be held over the Pacific Ocean on the beaches of Chiba and will be an epic sight for any bystanders. This will be the first time the Red Bull Air Race have taken place in Japan, home to native Japanese pilot Yoshihide Muroya.

It’s going to be an eventful day for racing and we can’t wait to see the results from Chiba. At the last event in Abu Dhabi, Pete McLeod of Garmin Racing took home a third place podium finish and expectations in Chiba are high for Pete.  Don’t forget to watch the live races here and share your pictures and stories with us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram using hashtag #HaveNoLimits.
