Recap: Week 3 on the #PathToFit
The third week of 2015 is underway and this is typically the time when most people neglect their New Year’s Resolutions, and stumble back into their former, maybe not so healthy, routines and habits. To help battle those temptations, we’ve taken the focus of week 3 in the #PathToFit challenge to create meals that taste great and don’t break the bank. With all seven of our bloggers entirely devoted to eating healthy, week 3 is sure to keep you inspired for staying on track for 2015. We know that eating healthy can be a tough adjustment, but with the encouragement coming from our bloggers, eating nutritious can be a reasonable commitment for anyone on their #PathToFit.

Dorothy shared tips on how to shop on a budget at Whole Foods Market by grabbing a flyer with deals, using coupons, checking expiration dates and developing a meal plan.
Lindsay Cotter, the author of Cotter Crunch, discussed the advantages of eating gluten free and provides five affordable gluten free recipes. She also includes tips such as rotating carbs and recycling ingredients from previous meals.
Justin, the weekend warrior, talked about broadening his horizons and trying new recipes. He describes how he finds recipes online, coupons at the store, and why he buys generic brands. Make sure to read his blog this week for the opportunity to win a $100 Whole Foods Market gift card.
Scott and Whitney shared four of their very own favorite healthy and frugal meal ideas along with the total cost per serving. They also included some great insight on how to score the right coupons.
Christine, from Love Life Surf, discussed her reasons for focusing on eating real food and incorporating more fruits, veggies, and whole grains into her diet. She believes that two things help ensure this, meal planning and food preparation.
Heather detailed her favorite running and trail snacks and the ingredients within those products. She factored in the cost along with the nutritional needs that come with each food item and discussed how she benefits from each snack along her own #PathToFit.
