Quest 2 survives accidental crash test

Since the unit was still on, I pushed the antenna into position and it started navigating! All of us were amazed!

I re-attached the antenna with electrical tape and it continued to operate for the rest of the holiday (3000+ km). I suspect the water tight seal is broken as the screen shows condensation, so it looks like it's time to start shopping for a new zumo 550…and I'll be attaching a tether to the new one!

P.S.: I have attached a photo with the antenna hot glued to the unit. I'm counting on it to navigate one more weekend trip until I can replace it with another Garmin.

Thanks again, Ken, and you can learn more about our current line up of motorcylce-friendly navigators here. Happy riding!
