Want a chance to go head-to-head on your home waters against the 2012 Bassmaster Angler of the Year Brent Chapman? Well now you have the chance! Garmin Pro-Team angler Brent Chapman has opened up a casting call for his new show, “Brent Chapman’s Pro vs. Joe.”

Brent will soon be selecting 13 different anglers from around the United States to have a friendly competition with on their home waters. That’s right … YOU pick the lake. No boat is needed to participate, as both anglers will be fishing from the same boat. Of course, Brent’s boat is rigged with state-of-the art Garmin marine electronics, including Panoptix, our revolutionary new sonar that’s making waves on the bass fishing circuit.

Here are a couple tips from Brent for increasing your chances at having your application selected:

  • Be as thorough as possible. The more you can describe why you and your preferred body of water should be selected – the better chance you have at being chosen.
  • While videos are not required, consider making one. After all, it’s a television show and personality is a large part of it. It can be a previously made video, or better yet, make one that discusses the challenge and why it would make for a great TV show. If you do upload a video, post it via Facebook or YouTube with #ProvsJoe, and make sure it is set as public, so Brent will be able to see your submission.
  • Make sure there is a launch ramp on the lake so Brent can get his boat in the water safely.

Time is running out, as Brent will be picking entries very soon. Most episodes will be filmed near the tournament sites throughout the 2015 Bassmaster Elite Series, which spans from coast-to-coast. So far over 5,000 entries have been received, so don’t miss your chance to apply!
