To create a course from a previous activity:
-Press mode on Edge 205/305 or menu on 605/705 to get to main menu
-Select training
-Select courses
-Select “create new” and then choose the activity from your history file
-This takes you to a Course page, where you can name the course
Press “mode” to exit. Now your activity is saved as a course.

To start a course on your Edge or Forerunner:
-Press mode on Edge 205/305 or menu on 605/705 to get to main menu
-Select training
-Select courses
-Highlight the course you want to start
-Select “do course”

The course/timer screen on your device will show the distance to the start of the course. As you approach the start point, this value should go to zero. Press mode to view the map page or compass page, which shows the distance and direction to the start of the course. Once you reach the start of the course and you’re ready to go, press “start.”

If you’re using the course feature on the Edge, you can view the map page, elevation profile or Virtual Partner screens by pushing “enter” to switch between views. On Forerunner, push the up/down arrow keys to switch between views.
