Peg’s Posts: Team Garmin pro cyclists roaring through the Rockies
While Team Garmin makes
headlines at the USA Pro Cycling Challenge with Christian spending time in yellow and three stage wins to date–Tyler Farrar, stage 1; Tommy D, stage 3, Tyler, stage 5 win today–we’re following the race updates and preparing for a Heroic
Homecoming at Garmin headquarters. Just hours after completing this 7-stage
race, the riders will board a plane and head to Kansas City Monday to greet
hundreds of fans. To complete the experience, the team will join Garmin
associates and guests for a 20-mile ride. And yes, this ride will be recorded
with more Edge bike computers than you can count as we whiz through the southern
suburbs of KC. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome the team and the
community cyclists who are not only big Team Garmin fans, but also have big
hearts. These riders have made donations to Bike MS to help fight Multiple
Sclerosis. If you can’t join us for the ride but want to help us in the fight,
donate here!
Follow the exciting race
action through the weekend with the grand finale time trial in Denver. Hear
