I’m going with the beachside running shots in hopes I can teleport myself or otherwise soothe the agony of marathon training through a Midwest winter. My training plan calls for 10 miles today. It’s 9 degrees here. Minus 5 with wind chill. Do I scratch, suck it up, or suffer through a treadmill run? We’ll see how motivated I feel later in the day, when the forecast promises a small window of sun and a temp of 14 whole degrees.
In the meantime, I’m staying in touch with our photo and video crew, who are in southern California right now, scouting locations and preparing for our spring fitness shoot. Sigh … wish I were THERE.
