Oshkosh Day 1: Visit Garmin in Hangar D!
The official start to the “World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration” is finally here!
It’s a beautiful day today on the airshow grounds in Oshkosh, Wisconsin! With temperatures in the mid-70’s and sun filling the skies for second day in a row, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the week. The weather is just right, the scenery is beautiful and (most importantly!) there are TONS of airplanes!
Yesterday, we gave the media a sneak peek at Connext and the capabilities of Flight Stream 110/210, which proved to be a huge success! We showed them the latest new features Flight Stream offers, including wireless flight plan transfers to and from a GTN or GNS WAAS navigator. It goes without saying, they were just as excited to see it in action, as we were to demo it!
As you make your way out on the show grounds today, don’t forget to swing by Hangar D and visit Garmin. You can’t miss us because we’re all sporting our vivofit fitness trackers and the new limited edition Team Garmin-Sharp running shoes. We look forward to a busy week this week, so be sure to come visit and spend some time with us.
