One Lap At a Time With Forerunner 210

Deena at RnR LAA couple weeks ago we told you about Garmin Sponsored runner Deena Kastor's blazing run and victory at the Rock'n'Roll Los Angeles Half-Marathon. This race is part of her preparation for the USA Olympic Marathon Trials in January and attempt at competing in London next summer.

Her winning time of 1 hour 11 minutes and 48 seconds — an amazing 5:29min/mile — was accomplished only eight months after giving birth to her first child, Piper. To help Deena stay on track during those eight months and to put her in a position to get to London, she relies on her Forerunner 210 GPS watch. We made the Forerunner 210 simple to use so runners like Deena can focus on their workouts and races and leave the number crunching to the "coach" Forerunner210_lap
on their wrists. The 210 let's Deena create customized interval sessions and see her pace for each interval — a huge advantage on the roads of Mammoth Lakes, CA where she trains.

If you already own a 210, you'll want to plug it in to your computer and download today's latest update. With this update, we have added a new lap page where runners can easily view the current lap mileage, time and average pace of that lap. For those of you who do not have this watch, this is one more feature packed into this easy to use running aid and makes it a must have this holiday season — and a perfect gift (I hope my wife reads this)!
