Next Stop: Richmond

_ccc1177w_jpg_2_ccc1127w_jpg_2Jeff Green and the Best Buy-Garmin #66 Silverado hit Richmond International Raceway for some NEXTEL Cup racing under the lights on Saturday night.  The 3/4-mile track gives racers plenty of opportunty to drive fast, yet race close enough to trade plenty of paint — making it a favorite of drivers and 100,000-plus fans alike.  In fact, it’s one of Green’s favorite tracks in the series.

Last year, Green was well on his way to a top-15 finish when he was (questionably) given a black flag for a small fracas with Jimmy Johnson — which sent him to the garage, where he eventually finished in 41st place.

This year, Green will be running the Car of Tommorrow, which has served him well so far this season.  Last time he piloted the #66 COT was in Phoenix, where he posted a 6th-place finish.  Good luck to Jeff!
