GTN G500 Training Class

We are excited to announce the release of our 2016 Pilot Training Catalog and it’s chock full of hands-on classes, eLearning courses, and brand new regional and international training classes, presented by our award winning team of trainers. Subjects include everything from integrated flight deck training and GTN essentials to weather radar operations and much more!

Our popular instructor-led, two-day training courses, located at the Garmin International Headquarters in Olathe, KS (Kansas City Metropolitan Area) offer learning opportunities for combined GTN & G500/G600 and GTN-only operations. These classes provide hands-on, scenario-based training that focus specific attention to flight planning and instrument approaches, as well as single-pilot resource management and task management considerations. In response to popular customer demand, we have introduced regional training opportunities in Florida, California, Alaska and Texas for the combined GTN & G500/G600 training. Three courses will also be available in Hanover, Germany – in May of 2016 – tailored to the European operational flight environment.

Our eLearning courses allow the flexibility of learning at your own pace – with a 180-day subscription – as well as on your own time, using a computer, tablet or smart phone with Internet access. We currently offer eLearning classes covering G3000/G5000 Essentials, Garmin Link 2000+ Controller Pilot Data Link Communications, GTN Essentials and Weather Radar Operations. These courses range from 2-3 hours but can be viewed as often as desired within the 180-day subscription time frame.

Registration begins Thursday, November 5; GTN-Only course registration begins November 13. For more information and details on all of our different training opportunities, or to register, visit our Aviation Training Webpage. For questions, please contact us at aviation.training@garmin.com or call 866-739-5687. These classes fill quickly so don’t wait!
