We’ve written about Drive Nacho Drive here on the Garmin
blog a couple of times, so we were excited to see that they’ve released a book
about their adventures on the road. To refresh your memory, Brad and Sheena from Drive Nacho
Drive have been traveling the
world in their 1984 Volkswagen bus for over a year, crossing South America and Asia. “Whether negotiating
cliff-hanging roads in rebel territory… or clinging to the side of a vegetable
truck while descending a 16,000 foot Andean pass, there seems to be no limit to
the predicaments that these two can get themselves into,” reads the back cover
of the new book.

When we first found out they were
using a Garmin nüvi to navigate through South America, we decided to upgrade
their gear with our new top-of-the-line nüvi
as well as a fenix outdoor watch. Brad already shared some of their experiences and how the new Garmin devices have helped them on their journey in a recent blog post. “Despite driving off into the tiniest rural one-lane roads near the Burmese border in Thailand, we couldn’t get lost. Thanks Garmin for
hooking us up with a new nüvi 3597,” said Brad.  We will make sure check in with them again as
they embark to India.

You can buy the book, Drive Nacho Drive – A
Journey from the American Dream to the End of the World, for $3.99 (e-book)
or $15.15 (paperback)
on Amazon.com. Make sure to also check out the Drive Nacho Drive Blog for updates.
