Navteq on board
While making the rounds at CeBIT, the nuvi found some of its friends at the NAVTEQ booth. Did you know the NAVTEQ European mapping on Garmin units is just as detailed and reliable as the North America maps? Some folks have told us they think the North America maps are more detailed, but NAVTEQ has assured us that’s not the case. As long as you have NAVTEQ maps, you’re good to go. Plus, we now have maps for Eastern European countries like Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, and the list keeps going and going. Bottom line — have maps, will travel.
