Navigating with Rino’s, Chicago Style
Heading out to the Taste of Chicago this weekend? Worried about getting separated from your group? Maybe it’s time to pick up a couple of our Rino units for you family/friends. Using the Rino, not only can you talk to each other using the FRS/GMRS radio, you can also locate and navigate to each other. Furthermore, you can use one of the units 500 available waypoints to mark your favorite food stands, so you’ll be able to make your way back later. Our Rino 110, 120, and 130’s all have a 3-5 mile radio range, and the 520 and 530’s have up to a 14-mile range. Come by the store (you can even take the free Trolley from Grant Park to North Michigan Ave) and have one of our associates show you what the Rino can do for you.
Want to run off a few of the extra calories you took in at the Taste? Come by Saturday mornings at 8:30a.m for running club. Take part in a 3, 5, or 7-mile run down the beautiful lake front. And mark your calenders for July 14th, when Bart Yasso, Editor of Runners World, and Carey Pinkowski, Executive Race Director for the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon, will be here for the 8:30 a.m. run and to also present seminars in the early afternoon.
