Police
K-9 units and search-and-rescue teams from all over the country traveled to
Olathe, Kansas this week to attend the 2013 North American Police Work Dog Association
National Workshop.  Training sessions covered all utility phases, including
tactical techniques and specialty areas of narcotics, explosives, cadaver and
accelerants detection.  A crowd of over 1,000 people attended the public
demonstration where spectators had the opportunity to watch the dogs in action.

The group has worked since 1977 to train police work dog
teams, establish standards through an accreditation program and improve the
public image of K-9 units.

Garmin/Tri-Tronics is a proud sponsor of NAPWDA, and we salute our law enforcement and search-and-rescue K-9's and their handlers!
