Making a splash in Miami

Miami09 013 Today wraps up one of the biggest boat shows in the world – the Miami International Boat Show– where the Garmin booths have been busy since the show doors opened! In one aisle of the convention center, pleasure boaters, captains, fishermen, yachtsmen and more, stopped by to see Garmin's revolutionary 15", 12" and 8" touchscreen chartplotter displays, high-definition radar capabilities and stand-alone combo units. Two aisles over, the GHP 10 Autopilot with its patented Shadow Drive technology was on display alongside the newest portable plotter for land and sea – the GPSMAP 640, and newly announced VHF radios. Garmin gear could also be spotted on display from boat manufacturers such as EdgeWater, Scout and Zodiac just to name a few. From the first VHF 100 install on the new EdgeWater 33' Express, to a sea trial with the autopilot and more, take a look below for a taste of the show.
