Makin’ a pit stop in Olathe
Race fans, start your engines! The NASCAR Sprint Cup heads to the Kansas Speedway this weekend and we’ve got your behind the scenes ticket to the action. We’re proud to cheer on driver Elliott Sadler and the No. 19 Garmin Dodge team at this weekend’s event, as the teams compete in our very own back yard. Before gearing up for tomorrow’s qualifying race, Elliott and the Best Buy Racing crew stopped by the Garmin campus this afternoon for a little race weekend preview. Hundreds of Garmin associates spent their afternoon break meeting Elliott, changing a tire (see picture below), and testing out several race-stimulated games and Best Buy electronics. Both the No. 19 Garmin and Best Buy paint-schemed cars were also on-hand to give associates a closer look. A big Garmin thanks to the Best Buy team for making the pit stop possible, and to Elliott for spending his afternoon with us.
Currently 23rd in driver points, Elliott and the No. 19 team take on the 1.5-mile racetrack of the Kansas Speedway Sunday starting at 1pm ET on ESPN2. If you can’t join us track side in Kansas, tune in Sunday as we cheer on Elliott to a winning finish!
