GDL Bare WiresAs the unofficial end to summer comes to a close, I bet many of you spent a lot of time beachside with a nice book or two. Maybe you even got through your entire summer reading list and are looking for further suggestions? Look no further!

Garmin publishes the most up-to-date versions of our Pilots Guide, Quick Reference Guide, and a wide array of other user manuals on our site. By selecting, “In the Air” in the drop down menu via the Garmin website link and choosing which product best describes your avionics suite, you will access to anything from the B200 G1000 Pilots Guide to the aera 796 Quick Reference Guide. These manuals are accessible at all times and may be downloaded, saved to your computer, and printed for future reference.

Several of our manuals have just been updated with some of the revisions including more detailed information as it relates to the GDL 39 bare wires cabling (above left). The Pilots Guide also describes in detail database download and software update information and defines any unusual messages and/or alerts that may populate while in flight.

While you may get some odd looks at your local coffee shop reading the AHRS/Magnetometer Installation Considerations for the G3X, rest assured you have access to the most up-to-date manuals!
