Congratulations to Garmin's own John Wick for being inducted into the Professional Kennel Club's Hall of Fame!

John Wick is recognized as one of the nation's leading coonhound trainers. "Uncle John” is known for his life-long efforts to encourage other hound hunters, as well as literally writing the book on hunting with hounds, “WALK WITH WICK: The Tree Dog Encyclopedia” volumes I and II.

A past contributing editor for Coonhound Bloodlines magazine, Wick's monthly column "John Wick on Training" was one of the most admired features for the award winning publication. He currently writes the popular “The Wick Section” for American Cooner magazine.

For over 30 years, Wick Outdoor Works offered an innovative and highly respected line of hunting clothes designed especially for coonhunters and other serious outdoor folks.

John has long served as a consultant and prototype tester for both Tri-Tronics and now Garmin. His vast knowledge and experience were instrumental in the development of both the Alpha GPS collar series and the new PRO Trashbreaker e-collar system.
