Jenna readies for Hamburg World Championships
It has been so great using my Edge 705 to compare rides from one weekend to the next, especially when they follow a similar route. It is really useful for me to be able to see where I am struggling and where I am improving. You can check out some of my recent bike training on Garmin Connect: weekend long ride and endurance ride. If you can't tell, I really enjoy the ride out through Weisen. The climbs are tough, changing grade often, but there are also a lot of long gradual rhythm sections, which is where I find that I can push myself the hardest. Lucky for me, I didn't have to ride on Saturday (July 18) because it snowed and sleeted all day here in Davos. Snow in July is a first for me! I would have been better outfitted with downhill skis than with a bike or running shoes!
