Jeff Green’s Best Buy-Garmin Car: Texas Holds ‘Em to 26th

_pma7588w_jpg_ccc0230w_jpgHandling problems plagued the No. 66 Best Buy – Garmin Chevrolet yesterday at Texas Motor Speedway.  The weekend got off to a lousy start when heavy rains canceled qualifying, so the starting lineup was based on the current NEXTEL Cup’s owners’ points standings… meaning driver Jeff Green began in the 31st spot.  After running a car that went from super tight handling to loosey-goosey, the No. 66 team finished in 26th position.  Next Sunday marks the return of the Car of Tomorrow at Phoenix International Raceway.  Although the COT has had its knocks, the Haas-CNC Racing Team thinks it has the car dialed in for another top ten finish.
