We just released a small update for the StreetPilot Onboard app for iPhone, including updated maps, traffic notifications and a new function that allows you to customize the map view, so you only see what’s important to you. The update is available free for existing customers in the Apple App Store. Here are a few simple steps to customize the map view with the new Map Layers feature:

1. Select Map View in the main menu, then tab the little arrow on the left side of the screen or pull it to the right side. This will open up a settings menu.

2. Select the Map Layers option in the settings menu.

3. In the Map Layers menu, you can choose what you’d like to display in the map view, such as points of interest, traffic or 3D buildings. You can also pick the point of interest categories you’d like to see.
