Helping Fight Cancer From a Chairlift
During the past couple months we have been honored to be a sponsor of the “Vertical Challenge”, put on by Team Duke and the John Wayne Cancer Foundation– an organization that brings courage, strength and grit to the fight against cancer. Participants have been trying to ski/ride the most vertical feet their legs can possibly handle, while trying to raise money for this great cause. These skiers and riders, and even a few mountain climbers, have set up fundraising pages and challenged friends and family members to match their efforts with financial contributions. To record their vertical adventures, 
Team Duke has asked these extreme fundraisers to track the activities with their favorite Garmin GPS products including the new Garmin Fit App and upload to Garmin Connect. Here, they can share the adventure with the rest of the community and easily keep track of the numbers so they can keep their focus on shredding the mountain. To date, this has been a HUGE success and there are still a couple weeks to go!
