Happy Chinese New Year!
Today, February 8th 2016 is the celebration of Chinese New Year! Also called the Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival, this signifies the most important social and economic holiday in China and is originally tied to the lunar-solar Chinese calendar. This holiday has traditionally been a time to honor household and heavenly deities, respect ancestors and most importantly bring families together to feast. This year, most of the Chinese people will be off work for seven days, from February 7-February 13 to: celebrate a year of hard work, rest and wish for a prosperous coming year. Whether you are celebrating and partaking in this wonderful holiday, or respecting the tradition we have a few watch faces from the Connect IQ Store that will help you enjoy this special holiday!
The first, and most applicable watch face for this celebration is the Chinese New Year watch face.
