GPS Mag: 250W is Another Home Run

CflgThe guys at GPS Magazine took at serious look at our recently announced nüvi 250W. After examining some of the device’s features such as it’s internal antenna, GPS signal strength, car mounting, ability to find an address and add a stop, updated maps, and routing engine performance just to name a few, the guys at GPS Mag called this newbie another home run!

This entry-level nüvi comes with some simplistic, yet very useful, consumer-friendly features. "This is a GPS you could loan your parents, or a first-time GPS user and they would be able to use it without reading the instructions." Among the features deserving bragging rights are not only the high performance GPS receiver and pre-loaded maps, but also the widescreen display — making every turn, a clear, easy to see route — and turn-by-turn voice directions and points of interest capability.

Features aside, the GPS Mag crew is notorious for putting our products to the test! It’s no surprise that they put the nü 250W up against some of our leading competitors in what really counts the most–getting you from point A to point B. After performing all three routing tests, this nü nüvi showed as the "clear winner with the strongest routing engine." Check out what else the nüvi 250W has to offer and read the rest of this in-depth review here.
