….I have used garmin gps products in my trucking career since 1997 when l bought my first streetpilot at a truck stop in ontario, or…….since then, I’ve had a ‘colormap’ and now a 2620……l cant imagine my day without a streetpilot on my dash…..the 2620, with the female voice ( l call her hallie, the female version of hal, the computer voice in 2001, a space odyssey ) guides me through my many miles, states, and cities….l can give her an address and she guides me there without a hitch every time….l also enjoy the true-bearing compass, the dead-on clock, and my ground speed displayed to within one-tenth mph…..when my gal pal and l go on vacation, hallie gets packed for the adventure…..the beanbag mount sits on the rental car dash and wherever we are, we know where the restaurants, gas stations, hotel/motels, entertainment/amusement points are all located….garmin has spoiled me for sure….l cant imagine my travels without garmin’s excellent equipment guiding the way…david.
