I was going to by another model but the salesman
discouraged it because of the nüvi’s portability. He was SO right! The nüvi 350 has performed flawlessly in
the car. We’ve lived in Connecticut for over 15 years but
never really “saw” the state before nüvi. Whenever we want a
scenic ride, we select the “shortest distance” navigation mode. We’ve driven down the most beautiful roads and seen parts of our state we
never knew existed. And we never worry about getting lost. To top if off, being able to pop the nüvi out and walk with it has proven
invaluable. We travel to Europe so we
purchased the additional maps. We would have been lost in Paris (with our paper maps) but the nüvi kept us on track. And without it in Italy, we would
have been convinced our hotel, across the train track was unreachable. But nüvi took us to a bridge hidden off the main road; we were there in
minutes. It’s the extra features, like being able to find a gas
station or restaurant close by that keep us loving the little nav unit and
relying on it more and more. It has unbelievably, made driving and
traveling much easier and enjoyable.
