Geocaching in the Classroom: A Great Way to Learn and Explore

Not to mention that OpenCaching.com is completely FREE!
Teachers and students alike are able to log on and sign up at no cost and
without any subscription fees. Students and teachers are also able to create
their very own geocaches that they can share with everyone. Also with the free
download of BaseCamp, student-geocachers are able to track and save their
caches to share with teachers, friends and parents.

Geoaching is a great way to educate students in a fun and
interesting way. Garmin offers a variety of different GPS devices that can
engage both teachers and students, while also tracking everything using BaseCamp and OpenCaching. The classroom gives students
(and teachers) a chance to learn something new and have fun at the same time!
