Geocaching in Mexico

Our friends Elizabeth and Josh over at Peanuts or Pretzels recently took a trip down to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and had a great time road-tripping, geocaching and exploring.

Since the weather wasn’t ideal for tourist activities like snorkeling, Elizabeth and Josh were able to take their Oregon 650t on their trip to go geocaching.  “Luckily, we were able to find a number of other great geocaches in the Yucatan outside of Cancun, and many virtual Earthcaches too!” They said. “We came to really enjoy the flexibility of our GPS because we were able to easily switch from driving mode to geocaching mode.  The GPS unit would automatically show us all the caches located near us.  It was very convenient!"

Be sure to check out their blog, Peanuts or Pretzels for the full story and learn about their other adventures!
