20140503_125143Last weekend, we were proud to compete in and win the KC Corporate Challenge fishing competition for the second consecutive year!  Representing Garmin were Adam and Paul, who were equipped with some of the top Garmin marine electronics for the competition.  After the last fish was weighed, Adam and Paul had caught a total of 28 crappie, weighing in at 12.53 lbs, edging out second place by less than half a pound.

On the boat, Adam and Paul used a GPSMAP 741xs, a GPSMAP 840xs and 1040xs, an echoMAP 70dv and a GCV 10 blackbox for DownVu and SideVu sonar scanning.

After winning the competition, Adam and Paul decided to go fishing with Garmin pro Scott Martin, who collectively caught nearly 100 largemouth bass (and some monster crappie) between the three of them.  On Scott's boat, they used the echoMAP 70s, GPSMAP 840xs and GCV 10.
