Garmin Vector: Earning Airmiles and Awards
At the inaugural USA Pro Cycling Challenge, where Team Garmin-Cervélo continued their season atop the podium, Vector saw its first action under the bright lights of national media coverage on Versus. Legendary cycling commentator Boll Roll (pictured) was more than happy to discuss the new Edge and the innovation of Vector. Check out the on air footage below:
The next stop for Vector was Friedrichshafen, Germany and EuroBike. Just days before the exhibition began, a panel of cycling industry experts awarded Vector one of the coveted EuroBike Award's. There were over 400 submissions from 27 countries vying to stand atop their peers and Vector's innovative design and technology blew to competition away.
At the booth, visitors flocked to see Vector in action and display 
independent right/left power on the Edge head units. We were fortunate to have two local cycling enthusiasts taking turns on our display bike in Team Garmin-Cervélo kit to spin for hours on end! On-lookers were amazed at the simplicity of the design and the valuable data it produced. Members of the media snapped photos and jotted down notes while taking in the energy surrounding the Garmin booth.
As you can see, it has been a busy and exciting few weeks for Vector and it continues next week in Las Vegas, NV at InterBike. Vector will again be on display, side by side with the New Edge 200 at booth #13115.
